“And I believe in one Earth, the Mother of us all, and in one Womb wherein all men are begotten, and wherein they shall rest, Mystery of Mystery, in Her name BABALON” Gnostic Mass, Liber XV ------------------------------------------------------- Trip of the Great Mother are variations on my exploration of Babalon through AI and Her relationship to ecological forces. Babalon is not only liberated sexuality and Eros, but the divine cycle of generation or decomposition. The womb, soil, and the compost pile. Nature is sex, and sex is Nature. Nature is inherently femme, and there is no light or dark dichotomy when the binary is stripped away. This thinking reinforces the good versus bad binary of thinking. It is a question of whether the feminine will nourish as a generative force, or decompose and feast for nutrients. The divine cycle of Life and Death. This has no value judgment, it simply is.
I explore these concepts in a series of feminine beings intertwined with ecological systems. Epiphytes, lichen, decomposition.
