<p>The history of <strong>Chateau du Tertre</strong> dates back almost one thousand years to the 12th century when it was part of the Seigneurie d'Arsac. The vineyards of this ancient chateau stretch over 52 hectares of gravel that have remained intact since it was classified as a Fifth Growth in 1855. One of the most elevated vineyards in <strong><a title="margaux" href="https://www.millesima.co.uk/margaux.html">Margaux</a></strong>, the <strong>Chateau Tertre's</strong> terroir has helped it gain a worldwide reputation and the chateau's wines reflect the soul of this unique terroir. Dutch businessman Eric Albada Jelgersma has owned the Chateau since 1997.</p>
